Dra. Stephany Quintero y De León graduated from the Medicine School in Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Dra. Upon completion of her post graduate degree in Ophthalmology the doctor did a year of Fellowship in the same hospital in Cornea, External Eye Diseases and Refractive Surgery. The doctor started her career early as an assistant to her father, the prominent Ophthalmologist, Dr. Rigoberto Quintero Chavez. Upon completion of her extensive formal educational pursuits, and earning her Doctorate, she joined her father's clinic and, just recently, took over the practice.

	The TopCon KR7000 is a state-of-the-art topographer. It measures the shape of the cornea and gives the prescription. It also draws a detailed digital shape map of the cornea. This detailed map helps in determining the patient's needs and detecting the extent of injury. It is a quick, painless, non-invasive procedure. (Below see examples of mapping by the KR7000P.) Dra. Quintero uses equipment in her office to evaluate and qualify patients for LASIK procedures.
